Office Makeup

Hello lovely peoples ❤

I have a lovely lady on Facebook who requested an office makeup tutorial which I finally got round to recording and editing.

I had a good think about this and for me, the two main points that I would like to emphasise is the importance of your lifestyle and investing in key products. So lets look at the first point - lifestyle. If you have 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes to do your makeup, this really is your starting point. You can either choose to stick to a minimal time or allocate yourself ten mins extra. I choose the latter because for me it is actually a chance to sit down and relax!

Based on that, the second point follows - key products. I truly believe that by investing in some good quality key products really cuts down on time and the hassle of lugging extra products around for touch ups in the day. Some of my particular favourites are Laura Mercier face primers, eye primers and a good mascara. For example, Laura Mercier do an amazing radiance primer in bronze - so this product not only primes your skin but it gives you a glow and some colour!

If you are looking to establish or even update a routine then have a good think about these two points. Let me know what you think x

New videos and vlogging ideas...

I will probably kick myself for saying this but I would like to do a vlog.  I recently bought myself a selfie stick *rolls on floor laughing*.  I am travelling very soon and a holiday vlog would be the perfect opportunity! I really want to engage with my viewers and connect a bit more.  I haven't really posted very much about myself on my YouTube channel but I would like to get to know you and vice versa.  What do you think about vlogs? Yay Nay? If you didn't know that I had a YouTube channel please do check it out and subscribe! Ill leave you a link to my latest video....

Much love x

Purple Look

This was my first video after having my little one. After a few weeks of changing numerous nappies, bottles, baby cuddles and last but not least lots of broken sleep, I finally managed to film. I felt like it was the first time I was filming a tutorial again! When looking at the clips, I felt it was so disjointed. However I didnt want to waste my hardwork! So I speeded it up and loaded it in the hope that somehow somewhere someone might actually learn something?

Again, this was an easy look using few products and using one of my favourite pigments. Hope you enjoy! x

Aishwarya Rai Inspired Tutorial

Ok so I know I was supposed to be more regular with these videos and posts but sometimes life takes over! To be honest, I really need to get more into blogging as I see this as a good way of expressing my thoughts and feelings about makeup and more importantly products!

So here is my take on one of the looks that Aishwarya Rai sported at the Cannes Festival 2010. I adjusted parts of the look to suit my skintone, face and eye shape but the general jist of it is inspired by her. This is the photo I used as my guide. Surprisingly, it was a very easy look to put together and definetely one of those looks that you can wear from day to night just by adding the reflects antique gold (dont know what my life was like before I discovered this!).

And here is the tutorial

Finally created a blog after reading so many other blogs. Who would have thought it was so hard to think of a name?
